Nehalem State Park: Sept 13-16, 2018 - SOLD OUT

NOTE:  All spots are currently SOLD OUT.  You can contact Lisa at larkunschoolingevents@gmail.com if you would like to be placed on a waiting list or notified if somebody wants to sell their space.

Join us for several fun filled days with other unschoolers on the beautiful Oregon Coast.  We are excited to finally be planning a State Park get together!  We chose Nehalem because of the way the yurts are positioned in the park,  and they have a large meeting hall and cool trees in the area behind the yurts.  The campground is next to the beach community of Manzanita, which offers shopping and a nice handful of restaurants.

Registration

$30 per family - non refundable - this fee goes to the cost of the meeting hall and supplies for activities.

Camping Options (prices without registration)

Yurts sites and RV/tent sites both have a maximum of 8 people per site. Prices are for 3 nights.

Yurt Site: $179

The yurts have beds for 5. People can sleep on the floor or you can put up a tent on your site. You can also park an RV in the driveway if it is under 24 feet.  (There are no plug ins for RVs at these sites however.)
Yurts have heat and electricity, but there is no water inside.
You need to supply your own bedding.

All yurts are rated as ADA accessible.

RV or Tent Site: $101

The nights in September may be COLD, so if tenting is your plan, be prepared!
For RV spaces please specify length so we can assign you to an appropriate spot.

RV sites have electricity and water.  There is a dump facility at the campground.

NOTES:

There are a few yurts which accept pets (up to 2 cats or dogs) for a $10/night fee.  They will go first come, first served to families who pay and request a pet yurt.  NO PETS IN THE OTHER YURTS. Please contact Lisa before registering if having a pet yurt is essential for your family.

You may only park one car or a car and trailer combination at any of the spots (yurt or RV / tent). Extra vehicles are $7/day, paid to the park when you enter, and they must be parked in a separate lot.

Cancellation Policy

Registration fees are NOT refundable, but you may sell your spot to another family.   Please contact Lisa for more instructions.
